Top 5% at HLS with a pretty good resume. No W/E or prestigious undergrad though.

I'm curious bout this also. Generally I think its rare that anything 'bad' happens during cb's.

Did not click with a partner, they got visible irritated with a question I asked. Another partner sprung a "gotcha" question on me basically as they were about to escort me to my next interview (after rambling on for 15/20 minutes). Didn't get along well with yet another interviewer.

I don't really know, honestly. It was definitely partly me, but I walked out both knowing that I would get dinged, and also that I did not want to work there. But I can see how another might enjoy it there -- just wasn't for me.

Top 5% at MVP with no WE and no prestigious undergrad can get you the same set of offers. Basically the only thing top 5% at HLS can get you that top 5% at MVP can't is Wachtell or feeder clerkships.
