1 Ding (Paul Hastings). However, my last interview ended with the partner saying they were excited to see me soon, so hopefully that means I have a callback. Alt, they meant they would see me soon in a cardboard box under a bridge outside their firm.

It's too early to freak out. Especially if you have interviews remaining. And it depends what market we're talking about. But if you haven't been direct applying/mass mailing, time to get started with that.

Received a callback from Willkie Farr in TX and Dentons in DC so far. I wouldn't worry if you're still waiting. I did a job fair a couple weeks back and it took 2 weeks to get a call back from one of the big law firms I interviewed with.

how does pre-screen / bid select work at GULC?

Employers pick 30% of interview slots from people who bid. The remaining 70% are lottery.

Anyone else waste a #50 bid on Cravath?

Hi there! I spent my 50th bid on CSM three years ago wholly never expecting to move to NY or work there. And here I am now plowing away at Cravath as a junior associate. You never know what will happen!

However interviewer JS was freaking amazing. Seriously, I would go work for them in a heartbeat if home situation was different.

Biglaw is out the window for me now I guess.

Consider interviewing for Biglaw in Florida if you can-- just reach out to them. You may be able to switch offices or firms later. Holland & Knight, GT, and quite a few others have offices on Brickell.
