Just because you’re not the speaker on the call doesn’t mean you’re not expected to follow along and understand what’s happening to discuss and strategize with the partners. All the things I do on those calls (as described in my op) don’t take any brain activity, allowing me to follow along and absorb the contents of the call

If you claim you're really listening to a call while you're playing Xbox, you're lying. If you do that *while jerking off*...this would spoil the mood for me a little bit, but you do you. Seems you could have most of the day uninterrupted for a spank break.

The main reason to join those calls is to get an easy billable hour or half-hour in while also taking a mental break by gaming, shitposting, online shopping or apparently, in some cases, masturbating.

So great to see a car enthusiast on TLS. Awesomeeee. What would you like to know? I drove the Boxster GTS 4 liter 2 weeks ago in the python green launch color, and frankly it was a bit underwhelming. The long gearing was no problem because it was such a torquey motor, it's just not sensational enough. Check out JayEmms YouTube channel on the 4 liter and I think his thoughts on the car are spot on.

I've driven every generation of modern (post 993 air cooled era) 911 GT models except for 997 GT3 RS 4.0 and 997 GT2. Currently daily a stripped out E46 race car, a C7 Z06, and a beater. I highly, highly, highly suggest that if you could save up or stretch a bit, get the current gen 718 Cayman GT4 / Boxster Spyder. It's around 20k more than a specced out GTS 4 liter. The suspension tunings are completely different and the engine character are noticeably different as well. New GT4s are trading at MSRP if not below MSRP already. Nobody is asking over stickers now. Furthermore, by the time you sell, GT cars alwayss hold values better than regular non GT models. Check out the Porsche dealer in Edison NJ, they are pretty good folks. Also checkout Rennlist. Some deals could be found if you look hard enough. Stay away from Champion Porsche in Florida and McKenna in California.

I spend entirely too much time on Rennlist! I actually really dream about saying "fuck it, don't care about money" and spending the $15k to PTS into British racing green (not Porsche racing green). What's $15k on a $100k car? I would actually love to actually test drive one, but the closest one is a few hours away (I'm in Southern California). It would actually be my daily - I'm sure I would be fine with a GT4 or Spyder (though that manual roof is killer). It is something to think about, especially if I just don't PTS - it may make sense to go GT4 in Gentian blue.
