I've interviewed with a few, and they were pretty much all clear that they won't be sending decisions until around next week, if not later. I'm sure not all DC firms are like this, but I haven't seen any offers from mine go out thru the HLS, GULC, NYU etc. threads.

One firm told me decisions will be out in a week (CB end of last week).Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:16 pmI've interviewed with a few, and they were pretty much all clear that they won't be sending decisions until around next week, if not later. Another firm's hiring partner said, "We will move quickly within a couple days." But the recruiting person said 1-2 weeks from CB. I'd like to believe the partner has a better sense but who knows

I didn't think to ask my first CB about timeline.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 5:05 pmOne firm told me decisions will be out in a week (CB end of last week).Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:16 pmI've interviewed with a few, and they were pretty much all clear that they won't be sending decisions until around next week, if not later. Irell was really quick. CB the night of screener and offer the night of CB. The other two made decisions within a week.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 5:06 pmCongrats on Irell! I just got a CB from WilmerHale LA which I interviewed with during regional. That’s like 3 weeks later.

Only heard of movement from a couple and not been seeing more movement than that in other schools threads. Seems like they are slow. Wondering if it'll just be into next week before we hear anything either way from most at this point.

Yes. Did not bid DC but have friends who did and some have a few offers from the big DC firms already.

Seeing more and more classmates accept offers. The other school threads seem to indicate a challenging cycle. How's everyone doing here?

L.A. guy here. Still waiting on a few good callbacks from last week to come back with their decisions. Can't complain about my cycle though. Didn't get all the CBs I thought I would but whoever does?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 12:35 pmSeeing more and more classmates accept offers. Starting this bad boy back up for this year. How did everyone end up bid wise? I feel like certain DC firms are in super high demand while others (W&C surprisingly) are being given away for free.

I got north of 25 bids, including every D.C. shop except Wilmer and Cooley. Already have a few offers in hand, so now trying to get rid of as many interviews as I can (including W&C).Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 9:44 amStarting this bad boy back up for this year. Based on what people are asking for—and the first failed rates—there seems to have been a lot of clueless bidding this year.

Nothing. But I have it on good authority that they move a bit slower than the NYC firms (I.e., CBs don't necessarily come through within 24 hours, more like 48) so I haven't lost all hope yet.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 1:55 pmAnyone hear anything from the DC firms yet?
