Wish I listened to OCS less for sure.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:29 pmMy experience is that they're taking grades less seriously. White & Case dips definitely below median. Or do you mean Williams & Connolly?

Should be slightly above. Because of the amount of Bs that are given out, I've gotten the impression that median is probably 3.2x from other threads.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:00 pmDoes anyone know what percentile is 3.36 at? Is it at median or slightly above?

I'm the original poster and I'm very average with a ~3.25. For 3.6+ firms, I have callbacks from DPW and Kirkland so far.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:34 pmWhat 3.6+ firms have started callbacks?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:29 pmMy experience is that they're taking grades less seriously. As an additional data point, I have a 3.7 and have callbacks with two 3.6+ firms, two 3.4-3.6 firms, and ghosted from the rest, including some non-grade-sensitive firms. It feels like grades do not matter much and it's all about the interview.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 12:00 amI'm the original poster and I'm very average with a ~3.25. Have similar grades and a similar experience in the DC market.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 12:12 amAs an additional data point, I have a 3.7 and have callbacks with two 3.6+ firms, two 3.4-3.6 firms, and ghosted from the rest, including some non-grade-sensitive firms. Re: NYU WIP 2021
Always take everything OCS says with a grain of salt. Your priorities don't align. They want to make sure that as many people as possible get as many BigLaw jobs as possible, but they don't care if it's the "right" one. You, meanwhile, just want an offer at a firm you want. OCS doesn't care if you get an offer at a firm you want, they only care that you get an offer at all.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:22 pmWish I listened to OCS less for sure.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:29 pmMy experience is that they're taking grades less seriously.
