How do the LA offices for Venable and Sidley compare to the others discussed in this thread? Any insights would be helpful.

I hear OC GDC and LW are decent places to work, where folks tend to be more respectful of associate time, especially when associates draw boundaries. Lots of partners with families, so it's not unusual for the office to empty out earlier and folks log back on later in the evenings. On OMM OC, I've heard similar, but that associates are staffed on mundane tasks much more than other places.

I don’t know much about Sidley LA but, from the few people I know there, I think it’s supposed to be fine as biglaw goes.Anonymity333 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 4:54 pmHow do the LA offices for Venable and Sidley compare to the others discussed in this thread? Any insights would be helpful.

OP: PM me if you'd like to chat about Farella. I can also share perspective on some (though far from all) of the other firms/offices you mention.

It used to be extremely broey (like 4 years ago), not sure if it still is. Nice people though and most people would leave the office around 5:00ish and log back on later.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 7:31 pmAnyone have any insight on life at Latham Orange County?
