So if I haven't gotten a response from somewhere (i.e. it hasn't shown up on my task list), I should expect to get one (either way) in the next hour or so right?Whyjd wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Keep the faith anon; we're all here with you.Anonymous User wrote:So many dings. Orlando is my only interview so far. Kind of assuming Bronx and Colorado will be dings and this point...
Theoretically, this is the last day for places to send out requests, right?thanks. And yep, I think the deadline is midnight.

I haven't gotten a reply from three employers. I guess they've missed the deadline

Yeah, if you check out the threads from years past it seems pretty common for some employers to miss the deadline.

Thanks for this. Seems weird though, if you run out of time, why not just decline the rest of the requests so at least people get an answer instead of leaving people wondering?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah, if you check out the threads from years past it seems pretty common for some employers to miss the deadline.

I don't know if this is obvious to everyone, but be sure to make the most of your table talk time while you're there.

Has anyone applied to the EJW fellowship? Or is that another thread? Can't find anything on it. Would appreciate a reply!

Considering how short the interviews (at least for me) seem to be, is it safe to think that they are more like screening for potential candidates for longer interviews later? Like how much can you learn about a candidate from 20 minutes in a room with a bunch of other people?

Depends on the organization. If you don't mind posting which one it is, someone might be able to chime in.Anonymous User wrote:Considering how short the interviews (at least for me) seem to be, is it safe to think that they are more like screening for potential candidates for longer interviews later? I've heard about PD offers going out. Any news on DOJ or other gov't agencies?

Has anyone heard anything about callback interviews with Maryland OPD? I had a screener at EJW but haven't heard anything since. I'm curious where others are with them.
