Anybody else think this is a West Coast/East Coast type thing? On the West Coast, attributes such as optimism and enthusiasm are actually valued.

nah showing enthusiasm and optimism is a good thing (but different than desperation) imo. I usually form a negative impression of people who are too flat or down during the interview (a lot of this depends on the presentation. there is a good way to show awareness of the downsides of this job without sounding like its a prison sentence)esse est percipi wrote:Anybody else think this is a West Coast/East Coast type thing?
