Seward & Kissel and Willkie. Alternate at Cahill Gordon.
Also, it seems as if Cadwalader and Shearman aren't out yet.

What does pending mean? Does that mean that you didn't get an interview or just that the firm hasn't sent its list yet?

If the main page lists the firms and you still have a pending then that is a ding. Any DC, Chicago, or Bay Area?

SEMW is generally better NYC for us I think. MCG has us compete against UCLA and Emory has a really deep alumni network in New York.

How do you know that it is just some?
I got an alternate for White and Case but it still says pending for all other firms.
I'm at Vandy btw not WUSTL

I'm just guessing that since White & Case had that mistake when they posted earlier last week that some firms have already had their selections loaded in.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Prior Anon here. Quoted to include statsI'll post them in case others are interested as well:
top 5%; no journal; semi-unique soft of second language fluency
SEMW NY: 15 Preselect
Aug 1: Cravath; SullCrom; Weil; Skadden; Paul, Weiss; Allen Overy; Bracewell; Jones Day; Proskauer; Seward Kissel; Freshfields; Davis Polk
Aug 2: Debevoise; Kirkland; Lowenstein
MCGC: 12 Preselect
Chi: Skadden; Ropes & Gray (only bid these two)
NY: Skadden (again); Cleary; Cadawalder; Wilkie Farr; Orrick; Shearman
DC: Drinker; Wilson Sonsini
Bay: Simpson Thacher; Vinson & Elkins
EIW: 0 so far, but only bid 7 (3 OCI; 4 resume collects)
Also, for full disclosure, from Pre-OCI direct sends I have callbacks with Paul, Weiss and Simpson Thacher (both NY offices)
Will post updates to this post to keep everything together.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Yeah, SEMW NY is up for me as well. 2 pre-selects (Skadden DE and Cahill) and 3 alternates
ETA: On 1 of my alternates for SEMW, I have pre-select for MCGC, and on 1 of my MCGC alternates, I have pre-select for SEMW. So there may be some relationship.

That's what my strategy has been. Even if it was possible, I doubt my endurance would keep up.PeanutsNJam wrote:You guys are skipping 20 mins between interviews right? back to back impossible right?

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
is SEMW still rolling or is this it? Also how realistic is it to be interviewed as an alternate?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
