I got dinged from BDS as a 3L. Hopefully not the same group of people get every PD interview. That is what kind of sucks about pre-select.

Just wondering if people wouldn't mind sort of sharing stats who got BDS? I just go to a T1 school but have a pretty dang solid PD resume (I know this will be true for almost all of us). I was dinged. Are y'all more t14 (or close to it).

"Criminal courses required. Top 30% ranking preferred. Moot Court and clinicals with client representation preferred. Resumes without transcripts will not be considered." -From EJW Staff Atty description, and it has been talked about a lot over the years.

If you look at the organizations' pages on EJW (I think you have to the organization and then the position) there is "openings: " listed. BDS's says 8. Does anyone know if this is the actual number the organizations plan on hiring?

Also - I thought we'd hear back from more employers by now. Cut off date for them to select interviewees is 10/01 (this Thursday) right?

Last year employers were still making decisions wayyyy beyond the deadline. Really sucks for those of us flying from the west coast (airfare/hotel reservations, etc.)
