^ Know of at least 2 Cooley offers (SV). Both came ~1 week after CB (same with a rejection I know of).

Did you hear anything from Holland SF? I haven't.Anonymous User wrote:2 or 3 years ago? I had a CB and it's been a few weeks now. Nothing in snail mail either.Anonymous User wrote:This may not be what you expect, but according to an old post here, Holland SF office sent a ding via snail mail 2 or 3 years ago... Whevenever I open my mail box, I am ready for the worst - a ding mail.

Re: Bay Area CB -> Offer Thread
To the above poster, my career office just posted that Holland SF is coming back in for more OCI interviews. Don't know what happened there. They were at the OCI at the beginning of August, so it's strange that they're returning. Don't know what that says about the situation for people who already applied and interviewed, but I assume it's not good. It's a pretty small office, and they only hire 1 - 3 people per year according to NALP, so maybe they made a few offers, people accepted, then one or more of those people backed out? or maybe they're doing stronger than anticipated and have added a summer associate position or two? I was just surprised by the posting. Also, I did not apply or interview there, so I have no actual info on what is going on for people who did and are waiting.
Also, on the same note, it looks like there are still some pretty decent opportunities even after you strike out. Plenty of solid mid-sized, strong mid-smallish firms, and now including Holland, a couple big law firms are coming to campus interview over the next couple weeks. Plus some solid fellowship programs will be coming in. So to people still looking, and future rising 2Ls, it sure looks like there are some solid options going on through October. Don't panic, just keep hustling.

Thank you for your post! Holland SF dings are out. So I guess they did not like people they interviewed with.
