Are people getting screeners that then lead to callbacks, or just going straight to callback? Also, do the cb's follow the standard post-OCI cb format of meeting multiple attorneys, doing lunch, and generally spending several hours at the firm? Trying to figure out what my upcoming pre-oci "meetings" will amount to.

Depends on the firm/how much they want you/how much they want to game the lottery. I have one straight to CB (multi interview, lunch, the whole 9 yards) and one 20mn screener.

Personally, all of my "meetings" have been callbacks without any screener. Fully reimbursed, multiple attorneys, lunch, everything. It seems so far though that my callbacks have been at firms where I'm well above their hiring range for my school anyway.

Also a couple of these, but after 1L callbacks.

Agreed here, except the firms have been on par for my hiring range (mid-T14, top 1/3). Have only had one so far, but got the schedule for my next one and both are four 30 minute interviews back-to-back, followed by lunch with a couple of associates.

I know i'm the only CB for the firm so far (I was a weird case) so saying the firm would certainly out myself, but I finished my CB today. I think it went well, but it was exhausting lol

Well the standard 28 day rule applied, but they're not starting the countdown until OCI is underway for the firm, which should be enough time to consider other options.

This, and they are tolling it from OCI at my school specifically.

Also something I imagine varies by firm, but do offer calls normally come from a hiring partner or recruiting?
