I think if you receive an applicant survey from Skadden, it's an ding. They just sent it out today.

I can see it now:
(is fortunate enough to get 20 screeners)
(still gets no callbacks)
How's everyone doing?

Re: GW OCI 2015 (c/o 2017)
I had pretty good luck with the NY regional (and saw a pretty immediate turn around with most after the screener). However, I have gotten nothing but silence after my DC screeners (8 thus far), so not feeling great.

SAME, and SAME. 10 OCI screeners so far, and radio silence.Anonymous User wrote:I had pretty good luck with the NY regional (and saw a pretty immediate turn around with most after the screener). However, I have gotten nothing but silence after my DC screeners (8 thus far), so not feeling great.

Re: GW OCI 2015 (c/o 2017)
Congrats!! I got all my NY callbacks pretty immediately, and just assumed all the other firms were solid rejections. Hearing that more callbacks went out today somehow feels like a new wave of rejection even though I had already accepted rejection lol. But seriously, congratulations, especially on Mayer Brown, that seemed to be one a lot of people were really gunning for!Anonymous User wrote:NY Regional Update: heard back from Davis Polk and Mayer Brown today.

Did you interview with W&C in NY, or in DC?Anonymous User wrote:Ding from W&C today via email. Anyone heard from ST?
ST = Simpson Thacher? If so, I haven't heard anything, but that interview went horrible, so nothing is coming my way except a rejection.

I should have specified. W&C meant White & Case, not Williams and Connolly

Ah yes, I guess in DC it is ambiguous, but fortunately I know Williams and Connolly hasn't interviewed yet so I assumed you were speaking of White and Case. They interviewed in both NY and DC, but from your response, I am guessing you are talking about the results of your NY interviewAnonymous User wrote:I should have specified. No callback for me, I was referencing the screening interview when I said it went horribly.Anonymous User wrote:When was your cb? Kay Scholer Ding. Despite making a "a favorable impression." Don't even remember this interview, so not particularly salty, but not a fan of rejection emails that try to pretend they're personalized.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
