Anyone know how many summers Dentons is even aiming to hire? Have to imagine not many since they're shedding partners/associates left and right

While this is true for some, many candidates are still heavily being considered. K&S rolls out offers slowly. Should be a new batch at the end of this week.Anonymous User wrote:k&s has made offers

Re: Atlanta 2015 (c/o 2017)
Has anybody else just not heard anything from a number of firms? It has been weeks, and I still haven't had any post-screener communication from A&B, K&S, Troutman, Arnall, and more. I understand that no news after this long is bad news, but I'm just curious whether anyone else is also experiencing this.

I'm still waiting to hear from a couple firms a few weeks after screeners too, but I got the A&B ding over a week ago, so that might bode well for you

^^have received email dings from two of those firms. So maybe your app is being held on to. Not to give you false hope or anything. But I did get the K&S ding 24 hours after screener.

To be honest, I wouldn't be expecting good news from any of those firms if it's been weeks. In my experience, any firm that I didn't hear back from post-screener for weeks (and I'm still waiting on some) always eventually end up as dings. All of those firms have given out many CBs and offers by now.Anonymous User wrote:Has anybody else just not heard anything from a number of firms? Like everything else in law school, it depends. Atlanta firms trickle out offers, maybe in part because some people are holding their backup offer open while waiting for a call/ding from their first choice, and the class sizes are small.

Is anyone else confused why the "top-ranked" firms in Atlanta (K&S, Alston) don't pay all that much? It seems to ruin their allure when Paul Hastings and Jones Day start at $150k.

Atlanta market is 135. There are a few firms that pay more, as there are in pretty much every city. If you have lots of options, go where you'll be happiest - that 15k isn't gonna make a difference if you're miserable.Anonymous User wrote:Is anyone else confused why the "top-ranked" firms in Atlanta (K&S, Alston) don't pay all that much?
