How many different positions did you all apply for? I'm glad it's done, but now I'm going to eagerly await the selection process!

I just applied to most, if not all, the available PD positions, so I'd say 13 in total! Too lazy to apply for other positions.ash0117 wrote:How many different positions did you all apply for? I'm glad it's done, but now I'm going to eagerly await the selection process!

I applied to all PD positions + CLASI, JAG (fat chance, lol), and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid.

Re: Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair 2014
I am a fucking idiot and for some reason thought they were due by midnight tonight so I literally just did 6 cover letters in 30 minutes. FUUUUUCK. I hit the ones I really wanted so that was good but holy crap do I feel dumb. I really wanted to apply to more just to gauge how much PD offices like me but I ended up applying to. Bronx, NDS, LAS, CO, MN and Fed office in Philly.
I guess the bright side is now this frees up my afternoon. Still have an interview out for my number one choice which I should hear back from any day!
Also I am 2L

I applied for all the PD positions (except MN and AK - I couldn't even make up a reason for wanting to live in those places). I also applied for a couple fellowships.BlueLotus wrote:I applied to all PD positions + CLASI, JAG (fat chance, lol), and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid.

Applied to 6 PD offices. Definitely hope I can snag a few interviews. Did PD work last summer and loved it.

Probably not a big deal. And wouldn't resending just draw attention to the typo?BlueLotus wrote:Just realized a made a typo on a PD app. Is it possible to re-send?

Good point, though it was an egregious error (misspelling the employer's name).gr8scOtt! wrote:Probably not a big deal. And wouldn't resending just draw attention to the typo?BlueLotus wrote:Just realized a made a typo on a PD app. Is it possible to re-send?
I sent out 25 apps on Tuesday, and was in quite a rush!
