What's the turn around for offers from CB's at the Philly office?
1 day? 3 days? 1 week?

Philly: CB on 8/26, offer 9/2 via phone.
CB was really laid back, best group of people I've met at any Philly firm. Accepting offer soon!

What school are you from? I had a callback on Friday and haven't heard anything. Probably not a good sign?Anonymous User wrote:Checking in late, but next day offer from Boston - their hiring committee meets on Wednesdays FWIW.

I just got a Boston offer. Really couldn't get a feel for the office's future, financially and number wise. Where does the Boston office fit into the firm generally?

Supposedly very. I know at least two people who have successfully done it even before they started their summer. Supposedly the firm also encourages split summers between their offices, though IDK how true that is or what's involved.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone knows how easily it is to transfer among the Dechert offices?

I got an encouraging phone call from them, but not sure if those went out to everyone they interviewed. Haven't heard of anyone getting an offer there yet.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know of any offers from the NC office?

It's not Philly, DC, or NY, but isn't the smallest office. My impression was they really integrate the different offices so that people in one office are comfortable working with people in another office if a particular project requires several offices to work together. I know nothing about the future or the financials, but was under the impression things are going really well.Anonymous User wrote:I just got a Boston offer. Do you know how that's done? Would you just email the recruiter and tell them you want to work in a different office?Anonymous User wrote:Supposedly very. Re: Dechert Offers
I don't have any experience with this whatsoever, but most firm offices have different recruiters in each office. Did you mention you might want to do this at the CB? Nobody would want you to be somewhere where you're not happy, but consider asking your career services office the best way to go about this before proceeding.Anonymous User wrote:Do you know how that's done? Re: Dechert Offers
Is the consensus that the Dechert Philly office meets on Monday or Tuesdays to extend offers?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
