PM me if you see this. Assuming we are from the same hometown and I was at RS last summer.

Thanks for the response. I'm at a T14 and am starting to reach out to alums at the large firms. Thanks a bunch for the advice!Anonymous User wrote:^^
Just from my very limited experience, I think that if you are going to a good school (I'm thinking like T20, and especially T14), you should absolutely network and massmail for 1L Big Firm jobs. A friend received a 1L job at one of the big firms in Pitt, and I know that the big ones all have 1Ls in their SA classes. I would definitely apply if you're going to one of these schools. Ties are crucial, but it sounds like you have them.

If it's on your dime, take the 28X bus. If a firm is paying, obviously take a cab.ImNoScar wrote:Cab should be $50Anonymous User wrote:How did you all get from the airport to Pittsburgh? Is a cab crazy expensive?

Are the deadlines for these jobs later so that they have our grades? Basically, I'm asking if it's okay for me to wait until finals are over to apply or should I get things going so that they have my application (sans grades) when I am in the area for the holidays.
