Have a screener set up in the next few weeks. So yeah, they may be increasing their class size or not impressed with ya'll so far :p

One of the many still waiting to hear back. Maybe I wasn't that impressive, but tbh I wasn't that impressed either. During my CB it felt like the partners and associates I met with kept pointing out negative qualities of the firm. I was really disappointed because I had heard great things about Milbank, and know people who either are going there or work there and they all love it. Did anyone else have a similar experience? It was all very bizarre...

I'm guessing you're referring to the NY office, but my experience with the LA office couldn't be more opposite. Everyone that I met was incredibly enthusiastic, yet honest about the firm. It seemed that everyone, from junior associates to equity partners, was genuinely happy working there, and wouldn't even consider leaving. I loved the vibe, the people, and the physical office. All of the great things I had heard about Milbank were confirmed, and it has easily been my favorite firm that I've done a callback out so far.

Hoping the hiring committee meets soon and gets some offers out in LA.

i think Milbank sent out a bunch of screener invites today. I know of 5 ppl who received them.

Probably. Really liked everyone there. Was one of the only firms where I felt like interviewers weren't just BSing the hell outta me.

exact same issue and I called to follow up and they said they would reach out to me later with a day but they never did... wondering if it was an accident and they didn't mean to send the email

definitely thought it was weird though that they didn't even acknowledge my reply email... i mean they are already giving out offers..there can't be too many spots left so this seems like a time sensitive issue?

Milbank seems to be all over the map this year. The LA office hasn't had a single hiring committee meeting yet...A lot of kids they want are going to have taken offers elsewhere. Come on Milbank!

I don't mind if NY is moving slow as long as its moving slow for everyone lol..i dont exactly have another offer that's expiring. the more people that drop out for other offers, the better.

who knows. since a call was already made im not gonna bother sending an email until friday. i definitely don't want this lingering over the weekend.
