This (LinkRemoved) should explain everything. If you're interested, then just apply.Anonymous User wrote:JW.... where did everyone get this invite from...?

Re: Quinn Emanuel Hiring Timeline
Asked one of the recruiting directors about whether or not a cover letter was necessary (there's conflicting directions on their website). Got this as a response, take it as you will
"Unless you are interested in multiple offices and need to explain which is your preference, a cover letter is not necessary."
Will one help? Maybe, but I doubt it. Seems like if they actually wanted one and judged candidates by it they would ask.

I'm a student at [x], had a great time at reception, very interested in litigation, please find resume/transcript attached (+will update by [final grade due date] if you're at Stanford or just have slacker professors). Done in like 2 sentences, not a cover letter.Anonymous User wrote:What 'something' should we include in

Yes, I am saying I got a callback already. So they're happening. It was a matter of days between sending the email and getting a response.Micdiddy wrote:Are you saying you got a callback already? When did you send the email?Anonymous User wrote:You don't need to send a cover letter (i.e. I can guarantee that it's possible to get a callback this summer without sending one). Whether they're judging sending one vs. not sending one, I know not.

Dude. New England does not include New York, so the only upper T14s in New England are Harvard and Yale.Anonymous User wrote:JW.... where did everyone get this invite from...?

If they don't interview you do they send you a ding or just silence? Would a ding also be within a few days?

Just submitted my resume/transcript, below the alleged cut-off GPA for my school. I'll play guinea pig and let you know if and when a ding comesAnonymous User wrote:If they don't interview you do they send you a ding or just silence? Would a ding also be within a few days?

Re: Quinn Emanuel Hiring Timeline
When people post callback information please specify what office you are interviewing for, since it is likely they are all on different timelines. For example, I have on good authority that LA has made some callback offers already (not me, ftr), but I have not heard of any other office giving callbacks yet.

I'm going to a N.Y. callback this week after being invited last week and submitting my resume etc on either 6/5 or 6/6, can't remember.

I think I'll apply just to give myself the opportunity to get accustomed to rejection to better prepare myself for the OCI process

The email I got says to send complete transcript, shouldn't we wait for all our grades?sap wrote:I'm a student at [x], had a great time at reception, very interested in litigation, please find resume/transcript attached (+will update by [final grade due date] if you're at Stanford or just have slacker professors). Also wondering about this...I go to a DC school, not anywhere close to T-14, but I just got accepted to GULC. Wondering if I should send an updated resume reflecting this? Especially if they are doing callbacks.Anonymous User wrote:Any DC applicants with CBs yet?

Re: Quinn Emanuel Hiring Timeline
Can anyone speak to the work done in the San Francisco/Redwood Shores offices? Is it primarily patent litigation?
Both are very leanly staffed, and if I applied I'd want to avoid getting pigeonholed.

Can people getting callbacks also include whether they went to the receptions?
Curious if it matters or not.
