Re: Cutbacks at White & Case
FWIW, I am about to decide on another firm over White & Case even though it is substantially less prestigious because I want more job security.

You'll be the most prestigious motherfucker at the unemployment office. You can be all like, oh, laid off from Burger King bro? Check my V20 swag.Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, I am about to decide on another firm over White & Case even though it is substantially less prestigious because I want more job security.

I'm not up on NYC PREFTSTIGE, but isn't White and Case just like any other big NYC non-elite big law firm? Like no different than a Milbank?IAFG wrote:You'll be the most prestigious motherfucker at the unemployment office. You can be all like, oh, laid off from Burger King bro? Re: Cutbacks at White & Case
Someone commented that nobody would be helped by this thread. I was saying that at least I have been helped - as I have chosen not to go to White & Case. Mostly because going to a V20 firm means nothing if the firm melts down before you start or within your first few months.IAFG wrote:You'll be the most prestigious motherfucker at the unemployment office. But thanks for the snark/complete misread.

Hey, he'll be happy he turned down Fried Frank, because when he has to find a new firm in 18 months, he'll have that V20 BALLER resume to get into a firm like Fried Frank. Re: Cutbacks at White & Case
Is the firm even less prestigious. Or more succinctly, is White and Case even a little prestigious?
