Well, here's to hoping the first wave of top tier candidates just went out and they still are fighting over others.

So I guess if you don't get a call from an interviewer who already have offered CB to another, then you are unofficially dinged?

Yeah, I've assumed this so far and it's been 100% accurate.

I'm not so certain. Take Cleary, for instance. When I spoke with former associates, they explained that the firm tends to wait a week before notifying interviewees of callbacks (in the interim, an associate will write a report about you based on what your references had to say).

That being said, evidence here on TLS suggest that Cleary will put out at least some early callbacks. So who knows?

Cleary CBs are out, and email dings are out also. Confirmed sources.

If you look at page 2, someone said Milbank CBs gone out.
Idk about the rest and curious to know about Paul Hastings and Shearman too. Anyone?

Honestly, so far AJF has been totally feast or famine. Out of the 10 people who have told me about their CB info, a few have 8+, while most have 0-2...

I agree.
And I heard three? four? years ago it was about 50% getting no CBs from AJF, and 15% getting 9+ CBs.
Then I wonder, where to the rest find their summer job...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
