Each day that goes by makes me almost hope I don't get LR. It seems like so much work for a somewhat significant boost at OCI, when a.) I want to slack off as much as possible for the next 2 years, and b.) I don't really care what firm I work for as long as they pay market salary to pay off all the debt.

Second choice (after LR) and given my lower-middling grades and lack of effort I put into the edit portion of the competition, I would take that to mean most people should be golden.

Congrats to both of y'all! It was my 2nd choice as well, so I probably am joining you, considering the zero shits I gave during the writing comp. I was too busy jamming out to my funk playlist.

A few of us suspect that JBL is calling so much earlier because the EIC is in the UK this summer - which means the rest probably won't call until after work hours.
