I am still skeptical. I am going to send an e-mail too. If they get enough e-mails, maybe they will actually investigate the matter. I have had correspondences with CCBA in the past and they generally have been unreliable with their answers. Here's to hope...

If you look at the thread from the past two years, several people got interviews. Most people that posted got at least four interviews. Something is amiss.

If that is true then my results from CCBA and the Bay Area fair cannot be more different. 0 interview at CCBA and 10+ interviews at Bay Area diversity fair.

They just emailed me back saying only,"The information is correct." I don't even think they bothered checking.

This is what they said:

"You can refer to the message e-mailed this evening prompting you to log in to your account to view your schedule. I just checked your account and you do not have any interviews. Please refer to the supplemental interview form if you are interested in additional interviews."

So no glitch? and no one got interviews?

Everyone should email them and note that no one they know got any interviews, either. Otherwise they won't take you seriously.

E-mailed them, told them that no one I know got interviews, and that the OCI page was talking about schedules in 2010 and not 2012. Hopefully that gets them to double check?

We are receiving many e-mails inquiring as to whether there is a glitch in our system as many students do not have any scheduled interviews. Unfortunately, there is no glitch. If you are not showing any interviews under the "Scheduled Interviews" under OCI and you are still interested in participating in the job fair, please refer to the earlier e-mail that contains the supplemental interview form. Please note that 700+ students registered for this job fair.

I don't doubt that this was a popular job fair, but seriously? What are the odds that a dozen+ people, some of whom got multiple interviews at other minority fairs (myself included), all got zero from this one?

Didn't realize there were 700+ minority law students in the Midwest. Well, this sucks. I am curious to know exactly how the interviews were picked out and how many were given out.

This year, there were 700+ students and 76 employers. And I recall reading somewhere that each employer gets 16 interview slots. So, a total 1216 interview slots for 700+ students...

The info concerning # interview slots per employer is no longer available... I wonder if the # interview slots per employer has been reduced significantly.

Still, you'd expect to see at least 1 person say they got an interview. This is too fishy.

You will relieved to learn that there is an issue with Symplicity. While interviews are scheduled they are not showing under the "Scheduled Interview" tab. We will address the issue in the morning. Please keep an eye on your e-mail account so that you may log in to your account as soon as the problem is rectified.
