i doubt they would yank your job offer out of the blue at this point

Let's all put on our positive hats and assume we will be starting in August. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I have been wondering what sort of jobs this type of experience might lead to. It appears from other forums on this topic that it is a bit of a mystery what former staff attorneys end up doing afterwards. I personally don't know anybody who has held this position or one like it. But I would assume that for those who are interested in litigation, this at least provides some decent exposure to federal appellate procedure and substantive legal issues, albeit at a (much?) lesser degree than elbow clerks. Any thoughts?

Not everyone was sequestered--a friend of mine got an offer letter yesterday.
