Almost all of the people I did CB interviews with were from CU and I did 5 of them.
Also, anyone know what's up with Brownstein? I've heard that there really isn't an offer guarantee as a SA and that a lot of their SAs end up getting no-offered. Can anyone confirm this?
can anyone speak on this?

I shot an email to recruiting about it. Are you considering an offer at Brownstein?
Something doesn't quite add up, as the stats say that they had 8 SAs in 2010 and didn't give out any offers, but that "offers were pending." The thing is, NALP forms are submitted in the spring (I believe) and as such you'd think by the Spring they would know if they were giving offers to their previous SAs.

I was talking to a friend who summered at Brownstein last summer. He said they do not give offers until April 1.

Was it a Colorado/U Denver student or out of state?

Further confirmation that Sherman & Howard cancelled its summer class. Apparently for questionable reasons.

What does "questionable" mean?

I heard that Sherman and Howard cancelled their summer program because they had a problem with their summers not wanting to stay on and looking elsewhere as 3L's. I've heard that they plan on doing 3L recruiting going forward and getting more people from the lateral market. Does that match what you have heard?

I am one of four MVP students who applied broadly in Denver market. GPAs range from median to top 10%, mountain west ties (though no Denver/CO natives), 2 of the 4 on law review. All of us didn't get a response from Holland & Hart until they informed us summer hiring already concluded.
Does anyone know how big of a summer class H&H's Denver office had this year and who those jobs went to? Any other relevant details?

I did a callback, but haven't heard anything despite an email ping last week. It's not looking good for me. Anyone else have some success?

Any firms still doing callbacks? Or is most hiring done in this market?

Huh. I guess that makes sense. However, it seems that they reached this decision kind of last minute. Like, weren't they already interviewing before they pulled the plug out of nowhere? Was this a particular problem last summer or has it been a problem throughout? Just seems strange to me...

Any input on this? I have a CB this week and am trying to assess my chances this late in the game. Or is it not late?

Don't feel too bad. CCN student with decent grades, and a lifelong Denver native with ties to local civic groups, etc. Still couldn't crack it.

Screened with DGS and Kilpatrick awhile ago and haven't heard from them despite leaving voicemails. Any news from them?
