CCN transfer, was top 10% at T25. Theres no real tips I would offer for this interview that I wouldn't offer for any firm. The people I met were really friendly, smiling, positive, etc. So don't go in all stiff and super formal. Act like you are enjoying yourself, be enthusiastic, etc. The biggest mistake people make is to take it overboard with the formality, and with the things they say. When they ask you what brings you to Dechert, don't talk about some obscure fact that everyone knows isn't actually relevant to you. No one is giving you points for having spent hours digging for that fact. Be genuine and be honest about what brings you there. Gush with enthusiasm over the things that really do pertain to you, even if they would technically apply to other firms. I got this offer because I was full of excitement during the interview, and I think it showed.

Offer for the NY office. I got it within 3 days of the interview. I think I'm going to take a different offer, so I'll be declining. Good luck guys

Any post-CB NYC rejections yet? I'm assuming they'll come via snail mail? I'm not too hopeful since I had my callback before several of the recent offers posted. But since I haven't heard "no" yet, I'm wondering if maybe I'm on some sort of wait list or something? This seriously sucks - I love this firm.
