Yep. Definitely something I'm considering. I really enjoyed my Schulte callback and can see myself working there.
Awesome, could I ask why? Was it primarily because of the culture or people you met with, or do you want to be part of their funds practice in particular? I'm actually pretty interested in fund work and think that Schulte would be a great place for that, but I have also heard generally that firms ranked significantly higher would offer greater exit opportunities, including making it easier to lateral.

got an offer at SRZ as well. Callback on 8/19.

Anyone get an offer from DPW with a callback on Tuesday?

I believe the hiring committee meets Fridays, but all this hurricane nonsense may have messed up the normal process. At least that's what I'm hoping!

Well I guess I can count myself out of SRZ. I did my callback on 8/18. I know a bunch of Columbia students did 8/17, 8/18, and 8/19. It looks like some people who did 8/18 received offers already so it seems as if I'm rejected.

I'm pretty disappointed that I'll probably be rejected from SRZ since it seems that people from my interview day already received offers. Last year, 38 out of 46 Columbia students received offers so I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones. I really liked the firm but I guess that's how this game works. Congrats to those with offers and good luck to everyone waiting on other firms.

Like both of you, I had my CB around the same time as those receiving offers and have heard nothing. It sounds like there are a bunch of us still waiting to hear back. Either SRZ is still going to extend offers to more of us who did our CB's that week, or their CB/offer ratio is lower this year.

Don't wanna scare anybody but I was told that they were going to be more selective than last year. Their columbia class was too big apparently last year.

This doesn't surprise me too much - I think there's a subtle reversal this year of the trends from last year. Super selective firms seem to be slightly less selective; less selective firms are more selective.
