5 Miami and South Florida screeners at my t14 OCI. Dozens of personally tailored mass mailings. Complete silence with the exception of 2 or 3 soft rejections.

Top 1/3 (barely) at east coast t-14, lifelong Floridian. UF undergrad.

To say Florida biglaw is tough to crack would be an understatement.

But are you a lifelong South Floridian?

I just had an interview with one of the big Miami firms. My interviewer let me know that I was the tail-end of this interview season and that I would find out either way very soon. My impression is that all the biglaw firms know that their competitors are recruiting late as well, so they have no rush. I'm hoping to hear something by this time next week.

At least some offers are apparently out at Holland and Knight, Weil, Greenberg, K&L Gates, McDermott, and White and Case.

I was told by McDermott that they're just finishing their callbacks. They implied that no offers will be made until callbacks are done, so I'm not sure where the above poster is getting their info (at least as far as McDermott is concerned).

I've learned that some firms are not entirely honest about their recruiting process.

Then can you speak specifically about what one would need to get a CB from them?
