so... I have a weird question I am hoping someone may be able to help me with. I am not a law student but my SO is. My SO has an unpaid internship with the DOJ lined up this summer but was not able to land a paying job. Are there any employment prospects for unpaid interns after graduation? Is there anything I should be doing to help?

This. I am an 1L this year and I was able to get a grant funded internship with Legal Aid. I am one of those people who would like to go for it on the permanent employment track my 2L year. While Legal Aid may be easier to get then certain firm jobs (possibly idk?), from what I have seen it is far from a assured.
