You should also take advantage of a Brooks Brothers sale and get 2-3 of their no-iron shirts, in case of "oh shit" moments where you run out of shirts or whatever. They can be washed at home and look really good straight from the dryer.

Black is a terrible choice. A few white, a few light blue, maybe one darker blue, and a few patterned ones (white with blue lines). Btw, if you are wearing them for ten hours a day, which you probably will, those things can get really dirty... so around twelve is my recommendation.Laundry once every two weeks.

I own: 15 white shirts, 5 blue shirts, 5 random colored casual dress shirts. I went too far during my SA and bought new shirts every week every time I was at the plaza. The amount I own is definitely not necessary.

A lot of law firms have a dry cleaner service that will pick up and drop off at your firm office, even.

LOL. I am planning on 3 pairs of dress pants, 3 white shirts, 1 blue shirt, 1 ecru shirt, 1 colored shirt, and 5 ties. We'll see how that works out.
