Bump on insight into life as an incoming associate as a new grad. Typical candidate profiles, work assigned, supportive of leaving to clerk? (Another thread made it sound like they took a number of people who didn't do big law 2L summer?)

In addition to work assigned to new associates, wondering about the culture around pro bono (I know the firm has a good reputation for pro bono, but what does that look like on the ground?), hours expectations, and partnership prospects.

You have to be more specific if you want a more specific answer.
