Could someone explain the distinction between the positions of Law Clerk and Associate at DPW? I've seen a few people listed under that, so I'm curious what the distinction is (I assume the former is not a paralegal...).

I am fairly sure that a Law Clerk is a junior associate who has not yet been admitted to the bar.

Just be specific? It's not like you're outing yourself, and we'd get more information on the situation that way.

For those with offers - did you send individual thank you letters or just one to the recruiter?

I haven't sent any letters - is it common to send letters after receiving an offer? I've replied to some "congratulations!" emails from my interviewers, but that's it so far. I also didn't send out thank you emails after my interviews at DPW; I did that for every other firm I interviewed with, but I haven't received offers from any of those places yet. Maybe I'm an atrocious thank you letter writer.

I meant after callbacks - wasn't specific enough, my bad.

Sounds like DPW doesn't care about thank yous.

Anyone have a callback last week and heard yet this week? If so, dates?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figured I'd rather do that than create a new thread.
SO, has anyone done a CB at DPW and heard back this year?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
