At least you all are hearing from your firms! Eight interviews so far, of eleven altogether. One ding and no callbacks. I would guess I am an average interviewer; not mind-blowingly amazing, but not horrific either. At this point in my life, at least I should be good at waiting!

haha well at this point 2 of my interviewers have known my parents and told them that it was a good interview but I pretty much have no chance with the competition this year. Oh, and one of the rejections came through my parents

are people just not posting, or have responses really been this dead? i had 7 interviews last week and i've only received a response (cb) from one firm. the rest have been silent, no ding, no anything. i feel like im in some "fordham hold" pile while the firms get through NYU... =(

seems like responses really are dead. i'm still waiting on a majority of my interviews too. very glad for interviews to be over though.

Responses are kind of dead so here goes, I had six interviews total, so far have gotten three callbacks: fox rothschild (stamford), alston and bird (ny) and wiggin and dana (ct). One rejection, bingham mccutchen, have yet to hear from other two.

EDIT: Gone through nine, with one response (ding). Two left to go. No CBs yet, and I think I annoyed someone in career services by asking if I was unemployable.

callback from bryan cave---so now I've heard from 4 out of my 10 interviews. I wonder if they're going to just snail mail rejections

The thought of a Fordham hold really doesn't make sense, even though I seem to be in one. With the exception of one person, all my interviewers were Fordham alum. If it were me, I would do cbs asap and try to strengthen/build the Fordham community rather than letting the slots slide to NYU.

I was going to call that an impressive list! I had heard of people with 20+ interviews, but no one I know has more than a handful of CBs at this point, so that makes more sense.

To the person analyzing the "Fordham hold", most of mine were also alums, but I don't know whether they make these decisions unilaterally. I hope they don't mean to make us wait until NYU finishes up.

Your interviewing skills must be pretty baller to have a 50% success rate like that. I can only hope I end up in a similar position (top 20% no journal from BC).
