Since last week seemed to be relatively quiet is anyone else thinking that there should be a lot of notice from firms this week?

I am not top 1/2, but I'm close.

1 Preselect. I know several people who were completely shut out (around the median).

SORRY BROSKI, at least we have bar review at K street lounge tomorrow. to me, that is so much more important when considering law school options. have fun 0Ls going to bar review in a HUT on lake ithaca aka frozen tundra that is a PUBLIC school in disguise!

Does anyone else find the GW CDO pretty useless? I haven't seen receptions for those interviewing other than the token hospitality suite on interview days. I know that Georgetown and local firms put on these evening receptions around OCI time, GW should be working much harder to set up these opportunities.

Townsend sent me a reject and I almost replied "thanks for not wasting my time by hiring me right before your firm dissolves."

I have yet to hear from Fish or Jones Day IP. Jones Day NYC office is scheduling CB and rejections - verified by multiple people.

I know its early, but does anyone have offers yet? I've done 3 of 9 CBs so far, and I'm supposed to be hearing back late this week/early next week. Presumably, others are in the same boat.

As someone who chose GULC over a massive scholarship at GW, that is pretty depressing.
Don't pay too much attention to individual anecdotes. GW has never come anywhere close to beating GULC placement. The kind of person who gets 16 preselects at GW would also have had absolutely no problem getting biglaw from GULC.
