I'm guessing the same thing as Dechert, trying to figure out what to do with Philly.Anonymous User wrote:Any word on Morgan Lewis?

DC-specific poll: Will Crowell, Steptoe, K&L, or Wiley match or at least raise this year? If any one of those raises it'll be a bonanza in DC.Anonymous User wrote:For those in DC, here's a list of the firms in Vault's top 25 for the city that haven't matched:
1) Williams & Connolly (though questionable whether they count given their different scale)
2) WilmerHale
3) Jones Day
4) O'Melveny
5) Crowell & Moring
6) Steptoe
7) K&L Gates
8 ) Wiley Rein

I say change the poll but I don't have a suggestion of what it should be.

Can't believe WH was last of the major DC-based firms to match (excepting W&C as a unique situation). Then again, can't believe that Hogan led the charge there...

Truth. I credit the earlier assertions in this thread that they'll be matching today. I've heard that from friends there, as well. But, of course, crickets for now...Anonymous User wrote:They haven't even matched yet.Anonymous User wrote:Can't believe WH was last of the major DC-based firms to match (excepting W&C as a unique situation). I knew Dechert wouldn't move last week, but it's officially time.
The whole wait and see what happens in Philly is nonsense. Bump them as well. Akin and Hogan raised their Philly offices, not sure about DLA. Same billing rates as NYC, same expectations, and lower overhead. Now with CWT raising in Charlotte, are they really going to raise Charlotte and not Philly? I can't imagine them wanting to fight the same fight they finally put to bed last year.
The firm's financial peers have all raised. Time to show your associates the same appreciation.

Funny enough, they played Philly that way before last year. Charlotte was at 160 and Philly at 145 until the raise last year.Anonymous User wrote:I knew Dechert wouldn't move last week, but it's officially time.
