A general question: Is it inappropriate to call HR for getting a decision after CB? I have pending offers from judges, and would really want to know the decision either way.
More specific one: anyone also had CB from Orrick DC? Many thanks in advance!

Have you made any contact with them in the interim to find out? I was told decisions by the 26th.Anonymous User wrote:Same situation here.Anonymous User wrote:Did anyone else CB at STB and just.. never hear back?

if firms haven't reached out for cb yet, is it a lost cause?

I honestly think firms are waiting for all offers to be accepted before sending out dings. If you haven't heard yet, I think it means they have offers still floating out there. NALP requires firms to give 2 weeks to accept.Anonymous User wrote:Wondering the very same.Anonymous User wrote:How long after CB before I should give up on getting an offer?

No, there are firms that haven't even done screeners yet.Anonymous User wrote:if firms haven't reached out for cb yet, is it a lost cause?

Also depends on how early you interviewed compared to the rest of the interview pool (you might have a longer wait if you were the first to interview). That being said, I'm slowly losing my shit while waiting, it's the worst part in my opinion.Anonymous User wrote:I honestly think firms are waiting for all offers to be accepted before sending out dings. At least at one firm, the firm gave out offers to my school as soon as everyone from my school finished interviewing.Anonymous User wrote:Also depends on how early you interviewed compared to the rest of the interview pool (you might have a longer wait if you were the first to interview). How long should I expect to wait to hear back from a callback? I'm scheduling another cb but I don't want to take the time to fly out again if I get an offer from the first one.
