can confirm that at least one reference was called today....not others yet, as far as I know.

anyone know if everyone with a screener gets references call, or only some?

I was told by my interviewer that all references will be called before they make any decisions.

Yea I mean I'm sure they don't waste their time with prospects that they aren't interested in... but then again maybe their opinions change after they speak with references so who knows. They probably won't send out dings until they do callbacks though

Yes, yes, and that said... don't sit on your hands. Start massmailing big and mid sized firms in your market with updates resumes and transcripts, be proactive while you wait. good luck to everyone.

Keep your chin up-- there are still callbacks to come, and I'd imagine there will be some movement tomorrow. In the meantime, reach out to firms that didn't come to GULC. There are other great firms out there, and you're better off using your time now to hustle than trying to hustle after classes start.

Too much to hope there's some sort of convenient list of such firms? (This would seem like a reasonable thing for OCS to do, so surely too much to hope.)

Question: What does it mean when some people are getting callbacks and some are getting rejections from the same firm but you have received nothing? You're still in the running if someone drops out?
