Baker Botts hosted a dinner last night where they extended callback invitations. Definitely tapped into DC and Texas offices...not sure about others :\

I don't think missing the dinner is a deal breaker. They were very understanding when people needed to leave early, etc. The recruiters said to expect an email on Monday :)

Everyone at the BB dinner got a callback. They used the dinner to "announce" that everyone would be receiving a callback offer. I think the dinner itself was just like a cutesy way of extending callbacks. An invite most likely means you're in, even if you couldn't make it to the actual dinner.
