Winston & Strawn cb (DS) just now by email.
They also mentioned that my interviewer was on vacation so that's why it took so long.

This may be jumping the gun, but if we don't hear about an offer within 24 hours, should we assume it's a ding? Especially if that firm has given offers within 24 hours to others before?

I'm really hoping that's not the case... I haven't heard back from a single employer I interviewed with on Friday, and I had 9 interviewsAnonymous User wrote:This may be jumping the gun, but if we don't hear about an offer within 24 hours, should we assume it's a ding? Does OP mean offer after a callback, or an offer for a callback? Totally different. CBs can keep coming days after the interviews. I think by this Friday most CBs will have gone out, so no need to totally panic yet (but if you're still at 0 CBs, start massmailing). After that, if you don't have a ding then you might be on some sort of waitlist, so all hope is not completely lost I guess.
If OP means an offer for employment after they've already had the CB, that is a much much smaller timeline. I'm pretty sure firms generally do give those offers within 48 hours.

Anyone hear from Kay Scholer, Hughes Hubbard, or Mayer Brown? Had all these on Friday but nothing.

I mean offer for employment, not CB. Didn't mean to scare anyone! But damn, I had a callback yesterday at my first choice. Was hoping I'd get an offer and just be done with this..Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:I'm really hoping that's not the case... I really hope that if people get offers they are satisfied with, they'd cancel/contact their other callbacks... Maybe that will create some movement and get people off the waitlist...Anonymous User wrote:I mean offer for employment, not CB. Didn't mean to scare anyone! The firm I had a callback with yesterday told me I would hear in a week, at most two, and checking last years thread it seems like it definitely took more than 24 hours for people to get their offers. Hoping that's why I haven't heard back but also didn't think it went so well.

Re: NYU EIW Madness 2015
Is there any way to try and push callbacks up? I have two scheduled for the end of next week, and I am worried the spots will be full at that point.

I was told you can call them to see if anyone has canceled their callbacks.
