We can play the guessing game? Was it a firm with screening interviews during the first day of OCI?Anonymous User wrote:Can I PM you for firm name? Had a call back recently at a Philly firm.Anonymous User wrote:First offer (in Philly). Rather not say which firm, but did a screener at OCI, and had the CB right after. Looks like some places are moving fairly quickly.
Congrats BTW!

Not through OCI officially, but got invited to an initial round of interviews at McKinsey by email.

I have business-related education, but didn't work in business before coming here. Yes, I applied for a summer position there. I know they're super competitive though so I don't want to put the cart before the horse.Anonymous User wrote:And can I ask if you have a business background, etc.? OP here.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Kaye Scholer CB.
Looks like I'll finish with 7 CBs. Slightly above median. Before OCI, I was aiming for about 8, so I think I did about as exactly as well as I thought I would.
So happy for you.
I'm at median with no cbs. Your point is posting this was what exactly?
I wasn't trying to show off (if my outcome is anything to brag about in the first place). I was just trying to add more info out there because god knows how left in the dark we all are.

Haha, I'm trying to figure that out for myself. I haven't been through consulting interviews before.Anonymous User wrote:Do you mind sharing what the interviewing process is like and how to prepare? The e-mail says we'll be taking an aptitude test, then doing two cases in a group with four or five other people. I think we do this round of interviews, and then some people move on to a second, more thorough round of interviews in the local office, and then some of those people do a third and final round in their preferred home office of choice.

Re: Penn OCI
FWIW, I got a Goodwin Procter NYC CB today so some from earlier this week are still trickling in.
As for Section 2 con law debacle, I absolutely would not put it past him. Our professor got really sour towards the end of the semester, clearly hated being at Penn.
