I still haven't heard anything from Dechert post-screener, and I know other people who haven't either. I think they just aren't sending out dings, or maybe they are waiting until all of their offers have been accepted?

Oh no. I'm really sorry to hear. It really sucks. But don't give up hope. There's lots of amazing stuff out there. Keep your spirits up.Anonymous User wrote:Email ding from Brown Rudnick. Officially struck out.

you haven't struck out till late November. Start mass mailing. Informal interviews. etc etc... If you got a few call backs you got the grades to get a SA. If you had good relation with any interviewers ask them for feedback.
keep your head up its not over.
Im top 20% at BU/BC and struck out. I let it get to me and am now scrambling for work. I should have kept my head high and kept fighting the good fight.

Re: BC/BU OCI
Yikes, these last couple posts are a little discouraging. I haven't struck out yet, but I know people with similar stats to me (top 20%, w/e, secondary journal) who struck out last year. I'll probably know for sure next week. I'll be sad if I strike out, but I'm also kind of starting to accept that I might not have a future in BIGLAW. Not sure what my backup plan is though.

Re: BC/BU OCI
Thanks. I had a CB there recently and really liked them, but it sounds like they've already made offers for 2 of the (i think) 6 spots in their class. Granted, I have no idea if those offers were accepted, but I feel like I have less of a shot becaue my callback was later.Anonymous User wrote:Last weekAnonymous User wrote:To the s & w ding, mind sharing when your cb was?

Keep in mind while they are looking for a class of 6, that might mean they're going to make ~20 offersAnonymous User wrote:Thanks. Thought I knew someone from BU that had an offer but not sure. I'll ask them next time I talk to them.

Edit: I think I may know of the person, but I can't remember if it is Cromwell or Cadwalader (however it is spelled).Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:anything?Anonymous User wrote:Crowell in NYC anyone?

See edit above (I didn't want to get people excited or disappointed mixing up c names.) But I know that this person definitely got an offer.

Dunno. One law firm actually told me that they won't be making decisions today because of Rosh Hashanah (enough lawyers take it off I guess). But I still hope we get phone calls.Anonymous User wrote:Hoping there will be some movement today. The wait is stresssful!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
