Looking for some post-CB feedback on this exchange between me and a senior associate.

I was asked if I had any interest in clerking post graduation. I had actually anticipated this question and I said that I wasn't really interested in clerking, that I would rather extern and get right to work in private practice.

I know firms like people who clerk, but this firm isn't top of the market, and I don't think I saw a single person who had clerked on the firm's roster of associates. So to me it seemed like the right call.

But then on the other hand, clerking is considered desirable. So I don't know.

Schulte cb ding via snail mail. Had cb early last week -- it did not go well.

Anyone get an offer this week from Hughes Hubbard, and if so when approximately was your callback?

Also, it seems like Cahill is turning around with offers in a short period; do they normally tell people it will take a week or two to get back with them after a cb?

Do offers from callbacks operate roughly the same way callbacks from screeners do? For example, if I interviewed on Friday, and somebody got an offer already who also interviewed on Friday, can I expect a rejection in the mail?

No, they told me they try to get back to you "as quickly as we can." I heard the next day.
