"Some firms do CBs in multiple rounds, starting with candidates they definitely want" but "depends on the employer."

Wasn't that interviewer for the NY office? I know of one CB that he made for the NYC office but was wondering if Chicago CBs have been made as well...

GDC dinner was for DC office. Fried Frank calls have only come from interviewer AB. I don't think Proskauer has called from all of it's offices yet. And Skadden NY was only (AFAIK) interviewer VR. Also, for anyone with a DPW CB, who was your interviewer and which office?

It's possible that he did NY as well but I'm referring to Chicago callbacks. CB (the interviewer) is out of the Chicago office so perhaps double-check there weren't two interviewers with the same initials (seems unlikely).

From those who know or went through it last year: what amount of CBs is normal/comfortable/desirable? I understand that generally the more CBs the better, but what is the general median for how many CBs folks are getting or have gotten in the past?

If anyone has any anecdotal data regarding callbacks specific to California that would be great too. I know they will tend to vary depending on one's grades/interviewing skills/WE/etc., but any info you may have would be helpful!
