Is there still any possibility that someone besides JD would raise salaries to 190k in the near future?

The best part about these was watching covingTTTon SA's to be this past year wear their brass ring on their finger.
Watching that ring rust is just the sweetest delight.

Gibson ALPHAS taking TED OLSON'S HELI-JET to EXCLUSIVE ASSOCIATE RETREAT in PALM SPRINGS for three days of MODELS AND BOTTLES and TEAM-BUILDING EXERCISES. CovingTTTon DWEEBS pile into senior associate's RUSTY FORD STATION WAGON (with wood paneling!) to associate lunch at DENNY'S (firm covers up to $EIGHT per person this year, but no free refills)

"Have we focused yet on how f**king nuts tax day 2017 will be for these summers? That’s when all that money they got taxed upon assuming an annual salary of $180K starts coming back because they made only $60K for the year. Enjoy your splurging."
ATL doesn't know about changing your withholding to represent actual taxes owed. Also what is he talking about, $60k? It's a 10-week summer, so it's $37.5k at FF (assuming semi-monthly means every 2 weeks and assuming a 10 week summer), and $35k at most places. [Edit: also the change occurred mid-summer so it's not even that high]

I bet all those associates are out their hot-doggin it to their non-matched friends
Glad FF agreed to ketchup with the market
Hope those associates relish this

Watching people troll the spreadsheet in real time while some diligent soul tries to maintain some semblance of order is high-quality entertainment.

There is no way. It is just taking them longer. No way they will not match. There would be partners thrown off the Pru.

That's why Boston is a match for sure. Their statement talked about letting each office know individually.

That was for non-partnership track attorneys (i.e., non-associates, whom they call "attorneys" depending on role). They are matching in all US offices for their associates.
Or are you guys seriously reading into the fact that Malt didn't spell out the salary table in his email to suggest that they are going to "adjust" but not match Cravath?
