Is it at all possible to defer an SEO acceptance?
It's for a reason that is out side of my control. It will require me to defer law school as well.
Think military, both my commander and superintendent are willing to write letters describing said need for my services.

Probably not, but I would communicate with SEO and see if they can keep that in mind when it's finally time for you to go to SEO.Anonymous User wrote:Is it at all possible to defer an SEO acceptance?

Does anyone know the program dates or a range?
I haven't committed to a school yet so my candidacy is still pending. But I'd have to give notice at my job if I was selected.
I heard it may be June, which would suck cause my next vesting date at my job is June 25th = /. But I guess that is only a problem if I am selected.

@charlesacar - I think so (or hometown or current locale). Someone else may know better than me. Did you commit to B? I thought you were still undecided

Just checked out the "G-Drive" from the latest SEO email and I'm not too excited about the program anymore. Exam Academy? On top of everything else? Is the goal to burn us out before law school?
And the dress code.. *eye roll*

They're trying to get you paid. Are they a bit heavy handed? Yeah, but they're also crazy good at what they do and it's all to help you do well. Even if all the extra stuff is a wash, that's a small price to pay for $12-15k in your pocket and a massive leg up on networking and job hunting.Anonymous User wrote:Just checked out the "G-Drive" from the latest SEO email and I'm not too excited about the program anymore. As far as the dress code, that only applies to official SEO events. You should wear whatever your office wears. My office was business casual, so I did khakis and button ups unless I had an SEO panel that evening (kept a suit in the office though, just in case I got to do something fun, but more formal). If you're at an office that is business formal all the time, you're not gonna have a super comfortable summer though.

rfhassan wrote:looking for info on this program I stumbled upon this discussion, and it's been super helpful. 2016 applicant here, I just got an invite to interview, and was wondering if any of you would be generous enough to share any tips and advice? I'm still learning about the program a bit, I applied once someone I knew briefly mentioned it because it sounded interesting, but didn't think to much of it. Any advice helps, thanks!
Have you heard anything back? I'm praying that I get it.

Yeah it really is. And I'm surprised this post is so dead this year. If it means less people applied, I'm totally okay with that as long as I'm selected. Good luck.rfhassan wrote:I haven't heard anything back, they are really dragging their feet with getting answers out, ugh so frustrating

I would really love to be placed in NYC, but San Fran would be fine too. How about yourself?
Really shooting for DC. But I'll take any place at this point lol. From looking at threads I've noticed that they notify NYC people sooner than the others, and DC seems to be a little later in the game. (I've probably read too much of the thread lol)
