Haven't heard anything
CB 8/19->Offer 8/27
wow, this is a very long waiting period, did you follow up via email in the process?
Nope, I assumed I was dinged because it had been over a week, but I got a call out of the blue.

Is it too late to still mass apply or hear back from mass apply? I heard back nothing so far for apps from early July to last week. Is it too late to send new apps?

Technically more like midlaw because of the market I was targeting, but I know someone who got biglaw in April of 2L. But I did personally have 2 biglaw callbacks the last week of September though. Keep mass mailing, especially to markets outside of NYC

My application to Hogan Lovells (direct application) was dinged on 8/21 for DC office and dinged on 8/22 for NY office.

CWT: had my CB beginning of month, received a 'hold tight' phone call about a week ago.

Did you ever get a confirmation email from Hogan that your app had been submitted when you direct applied? I did not even get that :O But no rejection. Direct applied late July

STB replied to my direct app saying they've filled their summer class. Not sure if that's actually true or just a cover up for a credentials-based rejection, but just fyi.

You dodged a bullet. Several peers summered here this summer and ended up working till 10-11p multiple nights. Same story with junior associates drowning in work and taking calls at 11p.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
