Are you at UT? I recently got an update from BB. Their on-campus interviews are on the 21st.

I had a V&E/NRF/BB interviewer tell me the same thing, checked with his/her secretary, and confirmed they were the mock interviews. Doubt BB, of all firms, would the only one willing to extend offers at the same time that all other firms are conducting only mocks.

Did you apply to BB? Go back and look at their emails from December if you did. They've been saying for over a month that interviews will be on Jan 21st and that they will be in touch if you've been selected for one.

recruiter told me their offices overhired and they weren't doing 1Ls anywhere other than NYC.

If it's anything like what they do every year then those Baker Botts interviews are real, honest to goodness 1L SA interviews. If you're at UT and you didn't get an invite then you're not going to interview with them for a 1L SA.

V&E and Fulbright should be doing the same thing around the same time (my year Fulbright was first, Baker Botts was second, and V&E was third to interview)

Do you know if they (all three firms) interview separately for the different offices or is it just a one shot kind of thing? Also, what kind of luck did you have after the interviews, if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to figure out my chances of actually landing a SA.

BB and V&E did the same day last year, and interviewed for each individual office. Basically the same as a 2L OCI interview, maybe a little bit softer.
