Why don't you just check the message that they would have inevitably left if it was them. If there's no message, then it probably wasn't them. Or was that obvious sarcasm and I missed it?

872 is Chicago, so unless your interviewer is from the area, I doubt it. The call I know of came from a NY area code.

It's a mix of snail mail, email, and silence. NY is pretty good about rejections vs silence though. S&C in particular took like 4 weeks to reject me though unfortunately.

Could you guys update us if you get CBs from Ropes or Sidley NY today?
I want to make sure they're done giving out callback offers so I can give up hope :(
