Yea, honestly it really doesn't help anyone to just say you got a New York callback, just increases everyone's stress. Was the interview yesterday or today? And, preferably, which firm? At least tell us the room number haha.

Re: UChicago OCI 2014
For the love of god, please don't turn this shit into a spreadsheet.
This is very simple. When you get a ding or a CB, just say "[firm][city][cb/ding][time of day][interviewer initials if you want to be helpful]".
This thread should just be used to track whether CBs have gone out for a given firm/interviewer. There's no real reason to add your GPA -- it doesn't really help anyone at this point, and basically every NY firm is going to cb a variety of GPAs -- so for that market in particular, GPA just adds unnecessary stress.
Be cool. This should be a helpful resource, not a source of unnecessary stress or a platform for unnecessary grandstanding.

Re: UChicago OCI 2014
I agree that GPA is generally obnoxious, but it can be useful info. Firms were generally giving CB's to high-GPAs before everyone else, or giving more CBs as those people declined them. It can make you breath easier (at median) if the only people getting initial Kirkland CB's are 181+.gchatbrah wrote:For the love of god, please don't turn this shit into a spreadsheet.

Re: UChicago OCI 2014
GPA and journal, urm status is more helpful than interviewer initials and time/date. The former is at least somewhat useful for future classes. The latter is just for reading tea leaves which isnt helping anyone

I think it's a little of column A and a little of column B at this point in the process.Anonymous User wrote:Is everyone getting callbacks and just not reporting them? Is it usually this slow?
