Finally got the offer from the Bronx. Third round was two weeks ago. Out of state and heard by phone with the email confirmation. Best Christmas news! Good luck to those who are waiting. No news is good news!

Congrats! Tomorrow will be three weeks since my third round and the more offers I see going out the more I start to work myself up into a tizzyAnonymous User wrote:Finally got the offer from the Bronx. Just got a call from Suffolk scheduling a first round interview in January. The woman said it would be a panel interview. Has anyone heard anything about interviews in Suffolk?

Is anyone who had a second round in the Bronx still waiting to hear back about a third interview? I had my second round in the middle of November and still haven't heard anything. I wonder if I should call?

I'm in the same boat. I think my plan is to wait until the new year, then call if I haven't heard anything by then.Anonymous User wrote:Is anyone who had a second round in the Bronx still waiting to hear back about a third interview? Does anyone know what the offer rate is like after the third round in the Bronx? There seems to be a lot of people with third round interviews and it doesn't seem likely that everyone will get offers; I initially thought it was meant to be a formality, but with atleast 100 third rounds it's seems like they'll need make cuts

Re: District Attorneys' Offices 2014
From the website it looks like 11% of original applicants got 3rd round interviews, and that 7% were hired. I guess that doesn't take into account people who were offered but not ultimately hired, so I guess to your question... the offer rate for those with a 3rd round is probably above 70%.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know what the offer rate is like after the third round in the Bronx? Regular mail ding from Suffolk dated last week. No LI ties so not surprised. But I haven't heard anything from Queens since my initial app two months ago... anyone know if they bother to mail out rejections?

They told me several times that you will receive notice of whether you received a second round or not via mail within 30 days of your initial interview.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can anyone who got a second round w/ Nassau let me know how long after their first round they heard?

With Queens, just call them to tell them you are checking on the status of your application. They are pretty friendly and should be able to give you a response either way.Anonymous User wrote:They told me several times that you will receive notice of whether you received a second round or not via mail within 30 days of your initial interview.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can anyone who got a second round w/ Nassau let me know how long after their first round they heard?

Yeah I have called Queens and they were nice. I was told "Well the good news is you didn't receive a rejection yet."Anonymous User wrote:

Hey people who have had a 3rd round with the Bronx... How were you notified about the 3rd round? E-mail, regular mail, or telephone?

Nothing for me yet. Had my panel interview in November. They told me that they hoped to make decisions by the end of DecemberAnonymous User wrote:Asking for a friend.

Though browsing through this thread (http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &start=300) it looks like Philly was still making decisions in late February for last year's class.

Anyone hear from the Bronx after Christmas about a 3rd round? I had heard they were making all/most offers by Christmas but haven't received a rejection yet, so still hoping.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
